Avtostrada has completed the installation of new pavement on sections of the R-33 highway with a total length of almost 35 km, which run between the village of Trostyanets and the village of Chechelnyk in the Vinnytsia region. Restoration of this route will improve the connection between Vinnytsia and Odesa regions, because due to the emergency condition of the road surface, drivers were forced to go around the R-33 and choose longer routes.

During the works, Avtostrada' team:

• milled the old road surface;
• arranged a new foundation and two layers of asphalt concrete;
• widened the road by 1.5 m;
• strengthened the roadside.

In total, about 150 thousand tons of gravel-sand mixtures and about 100 thousand tons of asphalt concrete mixtures of different types were laid. Material requirements were met by Marini 3000's own soil mixing plant and asphalt plant.

The following works are currently underway at the sites:

• asphalting of congresses;
• arrangement of spillways;
• arrangement of sidewalks;
• installation of a side stone;
• lighting arrangement;
• installation of a barrier fence.

During the peak works, about 120 Avtostrada employees worked at the sites and more than 60 units of equipment were used.

This year in the Vinnytsia region, the company restored 125 km of the R-08 highway and two territorial roads in just 90 days - a record time for such a large-scale project.
