Avtostrada restored another section of the M-21 international highway in Vinnytsia region

The section of the M-21 highway in the area of ​​Mogilev-Podolsky and the village of Nemia has not been repaired for about 30 years, and was in a state of emergency, that caused great complaints from local drivers. Now it is a modern road surface that allows you to move comfortably and safely. Works at the final stage - now company's specialists are applying wear-resistant markings.

During the overhaul, the road was widened by 6-7.5 meters, a new foundation and two layers of asphalt concrete were laid. About 25 thousand tons of asphalt concrete mixtures of different types were used. The needs for materials were met by Avtostrada's own production facilities.

Also our specialists:

  • organized congresses;
  • strengthened the roadside;
  • arranged sidewalks and curbs;
  • installed a new barrier fence with a total length of about 6000 m;
  • installed new road signs.

Work on the drainage system and connection of modern LED lighting is currently being completed.

About 150 Avtostrada's employees were involved in the works on the site and about 60 units of equipment were involved.

In total, this year Avtostrada repaired four sections with a total length of 20 km of M-21 in Vinnytsia region. Two of them are completely ready.

The M-21 "Vystupovychi - Zhytomyr - Mohyliv-Podilskyi" highway leads from the border with Belarus to the border with Moldova. Its total length is 401 km.
